How do I build genuine faith?

This question deserves honesty as it is a stumbling block for many. Billions of sincere, thoughtful people follow other faiths. Does Christianity claim they are all simply wrong?

Christianity does make an exclusive claim.  Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.” This isn’t arrogance; it’s a statement about where salvation is found. Christians believe Jesus is not merely one spiritual teacher among many, but the unique Son of God who died and rose again. That claim is either true or it isn’t, and if it’s true, it changes everything.

At the same time, Christians recognize that people in every religion are asking real questions and reaching toward real things: truth, meaning, morality, and forgiveness. Many religions contain genuine wisdom and moral insight. But wisdom and salvation are different things. A map can be partly right and still lead you to the wrong destination.

What makes Christianity distinct is not that its followers are better people. It is that it alone offers a solution to the problem of sin through something we couldn’t do ourselves. God entered history, died in our place, and rose from the dead. Other religions largely tell us what to do to reach God. Christianity tells us what God has done to reach us.

These claims can be examined. We encourage you to look at the evidence and ask honest questions. That’s exactly why this site exists.
